We celebrated “Margie’s Golden Hours” and International Women’s Day at Billy Sunday Charlotte. The event, presented by Maker’s Mark hosted two Guest Bartenders Yoshi & Heather Hamilton. Yoshi prepared her “Stiletto Pump 46” and Heather’s “Hear Me Roar” …. Annie Stevenson was also mixing up some of her amazing cocktails.
If you don’t know -Margie Samuels (co-founder of Marker’s Mark) wanted to ensure the bottle did the same on store shelves. It’s said that Margie is the reason most folks buy their first bottle of Maker’s Mark and Bill is the reason they buy their second. The shape of the bottle, look of the label, signature red wax topper and even the name itself are all thanks to Margie.
