In partnership with Hornitos, The Twin Oaks Agency, and North Carolina artist Georgie Nakima we hosted a paint and sip social for trade partners at South Bound Tequila and Tacos in Charlotte, NC. Georgie is the featured artist for the 2023 Hornitos VAP available now in retail stores across the USA.
The event began with a meet and greet with Georgie inclusive of Hornitos cocktails and lite bites and I provided brand education on the featured SKUs – Plata, Reposado, and Black Barrel. Georgie addressed the group about her approach to art and provided attendees with pre-printed canvases of the VAP design from the the back of the box. This allowed our trade partners to use Georgie’s art as a starting point as they selected their own color themes to personalize their experience.
During the event Georgie visited each person, making everyone feel welcomed and providing guidance on painting techniques along the way. The response from attendees was overwhelmingly positive with several trade partners commented that the event was “above and beyond” what was expected.
