Todd Weinstock of glassJAw’s 1992 Gibson LP Studio Lte

For all my NY hXc fans… I recently acquired  Todd Weinstock of GLASSJAW’s 1992 Gibson LP Studio Lite. Duncan EVH bridge HB and Gibson 496R neck + Sperzel locking tuners. Plays and sounds beautiful! Slim neck profile and a weight that wont break you back. “Typical Gibson” headstock repair. It can be seen in the “Siberian Kiss” music video and was used on the “EYEWTKAS” tour. Todd is super amazing – threw in some guitar […]

“The Grunge Grail” – 1969 Competition Mustang

Well, I have only wanted this guitar since I saw it on MTV back in 1991. The infamous “Smells Like Teen Spirit” music video 1969 Fender Competition Mustang with matching headstock. The actual guitar sold for over $4.5 million at auction last year. The guitar was taken out of tour rotation after being smashed into the soundboard during a brutal show at The Dallas Trees Club October 19, 1991. It has been said to have been

Round Three – Birmingham! Furnace Fest 2023

Third time’s a charm. Back to Birmingham for Furnace Fest 2023! I have to start off by giving a shout out to Paul Waggoner, (guitarist BTBAM and PFC). His crew was instrumental in making sure I was able to capture all the right shots. With that being said, it felt like 2002. There was a very heavy North Carolina representation with the likes of the legendary Prayer for Cleansing, which spawned Between the Buried and

CONVERGE – The Senate. Columbia, SC – May 19, 2023

The almighty Converge commandeered the stage of The Senate in Columbia, SC this past Friday. This was the first “club show” of this run of tour dates. I’ve been watching this band since 1999 and they still bring all the energy that amazed a very young version of me. I remember seeing them at Tremont Music Hall the week “Jane Doe” was released. I was like “What the hell am I witnessing? This is amazing”  Jacob Bannon and co blasted

The Gaslight Anthem – Fillmore NC – May 16, 2023

It’s been some time since The Gaslight Anthem hiatus. I was able to catch a 10-year anniversary show for “59 Sound” in 2018 at the 930 club in Washington DC.  In addition to that I was able to photograph Brian Fallon twice on some of his solo tours. However, I have been waiting for this show for a while.  The Jersey boys returned to the Fillmore Charlotte, May 16, 2023, and played an eclectic set
