BLACK FLAG 1984 FIRST edition pressing – MISPRINT “My War”

Undeniably my favorite record from the Henry Rollins era of Black Flag. And my gateway into true punk rock & Hardcore (yes, I like both types of music). But growing up as a kid in the suburbs – Nirvana helped me find the underground ( aka Black Flag), and Black Flag helped me discover all the other bands: Misfits, Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys, etc… Ya know, the typical roster.

I actually snagged this on a Facebook “auction group” – You basically puu your bid in the comment section and it has a time stamped closing time for each LP. First time I’ve won or conducted vinyl purchasing this way.

Tracks A5&6 ‘Forever time’ and ‘Swinging man’ flip flopped. Hence the exclusivity of this misprint. I am guessing the error was caused because each song is exactly 2:55 in length. It does come with the original SST Merchandise mailer which is super cool. Everything from Stickers, shirts and Skateboards. The good ol’ days when you dropped cash or check in an envelope, dropped it in the mail and prayed/waited for weeks.

The empty space towards the vinyl label sticker reads “exploring the inside of empty guns” and “looking for the markings of rifled thoughts. Is that it then?
