There was little fanfare in September when Charlotte chef and restaurateur Bruce Moffett quietly opened Sala, a European-style cocktail lounge next to his stalwart Italian restaurant, Stagioni. Award-winning mixologist Bob Peters – Folia Southend

Award-winning mixologist Bob Peters is ready to bring Miami garden bar vibes to South End. Peters debuts new craft cocktail lounge, Folia, at 5 pm on Oct. 11th. It’s at 1440 S. Tryon St., Suite 102. It is neighbors with Wooden Robot Brewery, Vinyl and Pie.zza. Folia is the latest project for Peters, beverage director for Charlotte-based Built on Hospitality. The Fox and Falcon

David Burke brings his classic New American and modern steakhouse fare to SouthPark. For years, the prominent chef and restaurateur’s desire was to open a restaurant in Charlotte, precisely in the neighborhood where The Fox & Falcon by David Burke is located. The 4,100-square-foot space in Sharon Square was given a facelift after Dogwood closed in August. Dark wood furniture and heavy beams were brightened with lighter paint, ambient lighting, and white tablecloths and chairs.
